Prayer times seem off — what should I check?

MyPray calculates prayer times using your device's GPS location and standard astronomical methods. Make sure Location Services is enabled for MyPray in Settings → Privacy & Security → Location Services → MyPray and set to "While Using App" or "Always." If you're in an area with poor GPS signal, try moving to an open space.

How do I reset my prayer tracking data?

Uninstalling and reinstalling the app will clear all local data. There is no cloud backup — all prayer data is stored on your device only.

The Qibla compass is pointing in the wrong direction

Make sure your device's compass is calibrated. Move your phone in a figure-8 pattern a few times to recalibrate. Avoid using the compass near large metal objects or electronics that can interfere with the magnetometer.

I'm not receiving prayer notifications

Check that notifications are enabled in Settings → Notifications → MyPray. Also make sure the app has been opened at least once after a fresh install so notifications can be scheduled.

How do I turn off ads?

MyPray is free and supported by ads. You can limit ad personalisation in Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.
